My name is Bodhi Philpot, and Keshiki is my Internet playground. By day I develop software, mainly web development but I’ve done other work with 3d graphics and mobile phones. My resume is still in progress, but will appear eventually. By night I experiment with cameras, music and (more) programming.
If you want to get in touch please feel free to email me, or get in touch via twitter.
The name?
I was living in Japan when I started the site, and Keshiki (ke-shi-ki, けしき in Hiragana) is a Japanese word that is usually translated as “View” or “Landscape”, so it seemed a good a name as any for a photographic diary in Japan. I’ve since moved back to Australia, and Keshiki has grown to be a bit more than a visual diary, but the committee has determined that the name can stay.
Also, I quite like the two Kanji – the symbols on the top-left of the site – so it got bonus points.
